A Successful Day

A place where you can feel that you are safe, you can feel that you are welcome to all the people that you can see, and it seems that there are happy of what they are doing. For my three days in Apalit, Pampanga this are the common things that you can observes. It was nice to say that it is successfully celebrates the Thanksgiving of God of all the brethren of the MCGI (Members Church of God International) and the some guests of different religions.

PNK ( Pasalamat ng Buong Katawan) is one of the most exciting part in the MCGI in this you are giving thanks to God for all the things that he have done unto you. In this all the brethren are attentively listening to our preacher Kuya Daniel Razon and Bro. Eli Soriano. Moreover while listening to the words of God a lot of hindrances are we going to experience, like the temperature in the Apalit is too hot, you can feel that you are burn by the sun, you can feel sleepy etc. but those hindrances are not the reasons to stop listening by our preacher instead we keep on listening just to proof that we are willing to give thanks to God.

 In Addition to that you can see the presence of all the brethren they also join in all the jamming. For the whole day in Apalit it was too fun for us because some of my friends that is not a member of the MCGI are willing to go their and to also listening the words of God and to take Him for what he have done for us.

The First Timer

The First Timer

            This is the day that I am waiting to walk while capturing some picture with my fellow students, and the Photoville members. It is fun for as in the reason of this is our first time to go outside just to take a nice shot, but while we are finding a good subject honestly I felt nervous, I am afraid to use the DSLR because it is not mine, and I’m not good enough using the DSLR. But as time goes by those emotions that I felt was changed into being happy, and excited for another subject because I was enjoying using the DSLR of kuya Rodel and kuya Fred

            We walked and walked and then take some picture that for us we know that it is nice we are also eating while walking, and then having a group picture, this are some we did in our photo walk. Until I get fever because I’m tired walking and that time it was very hot because it was in the afternoon that is the reason why I wanted to go home, but I realized it is my chance to experienced that the things the photographer did in their photo walk, and it is just a part of being a first timer. So although it has a lot of hindrances happened I will continue what I been started I will keep on finding a good subject for my photo walk.

           After that all the group members ate at the Kitchen Basics. When we ate and take some rest we felt tired that wanted to take some sleep but the Photoville members told that after we ate our lunch we will continuing walking like we did a while ago.

            In this moment after we took some picture, before we go home we took some group picture with the Photoville members and the whole class of 2B and some of the students of 2A. for the whole day walking on the street we felt tired but happy for that wonderful experienced. I felt that I am a professional photographer that time.

The UNTV Station

Radio is a medium were you can listen your favorite songs, from different radio station of different DJ of course. It is also important because it is also another way for us to know the daily events happened in our country, but most of the radio stations like: Brgy. LS, Yes Fm, Pinas Fm Win Radio etc. are more on giving opinion base on the lives of a person who is broken hearted, or wanted to have a lifetime partner. Different strategies they did just to catch up the attention of the listener.

But there is a radios station which is differs from those stations. The UNTV Radio which is own by Mr. Larry Ynares with help of the CEO (Chairman Executive Chairman) Mr. Public Servants Daniel S. Razon. All their programs differ from other stations. This station aims to help people, they are giving an opinion but in the way of how Bro. Eli gives opinion in all brethren, and the Dear Kuya, Student Hour, Huntahan etc. are some of their programs in the UNTV Radio. All their program that the listener heard is more on public service, and they are not giving opinion base on their own knowledge in fact it is base in the Bible.

I think it is the reason why the UNTV Radio was awarded by the UP Gantingan because of their programs that shows a public service, because this station wanted to have a development to help their fellow citizen like the poor people, like in their program in the PNP and huntahan, this is a program who helped people to know the things about the laws especially the poor people who doesn’t know the rules in our country. So in this station pursue to give knowledge, to inform people through the use of their programs airing. Unlike the other stations that more on personal problem etc.

Sa Laverdad

Matagumpay na naipatayo ang paaralang La Verdad Christian College Caloocan (LVCC) sa pangunguna nina Bro. Eliseo F. Soriano at Kuya Daniel S. Razon. Ang paaralang ito ay itinaguyod para sa mga mag-aaral na nais makapagtapos ng kani-kanilang pag-aaral sa kolehiyo.

Ang LVCC ay ang nag-iisang pampaaralan na walang binabayaran ang bawat estudyante. Sa katunayan lahat ng mga bagay na may kaugnayan sa pag-aaral sa kolehiyo ay libre. Halimbawa nito ay ang uniporme, mga libro, pagkain, pati na rin ang mga kompyuter, camera at iba pang mga kagamitan na maaring makatulong sa mga iskolar sa nasabing paaralan.

Hindi lang yan, maging sa mga pangpinansyal ay tumutulong sina Bro.Eli at kuya Daniel sa mga iskolar na kanilang pinapag-aral upang hindi ito mawalan ng pag-asa sa kanilang pag-aaral, upang hindi maging dahilan ang kahirapan sa pag-aaral ng mga piling iskolar ng LVCC.

Kaya bilang iskolar o mag-aaral tanging pag-aaral ang aming iginaganti upang masuklian namin ang mga paghihirap at kabutihang naibabahagi nila sa amin.

Kahit mahirap mag-aral, masigla pa rin ang mga iskolar at patuloy na nag-aaral sa abot nang aming makakaya. Di lang iyan, dahil aktibo ang lahat sa mga aktibidades na mayroon sa paaralan na ang bawat isa ay nagpapakita ng kani-kanilang mga kakayahan sa nasabing patimpalak.

Gaya na lamang nito ay ang “Buwan ng Wika” na ang bawat isa ay naging masaya dahil sa matagumpay itong naidaos. At hindi lang iyan nagtatapos sapagkat madami pang mga aktibidad na dapat abangan ng lahat.

Mayroon din namang mga organisasyon na maari ding salihan ng mga mag-aaral gaya ng Teatro La Verdad (TLV) na iyong ipapamalas ang iyong galing sa pag-arte, Blue Ants naman para sa mga mahilig sa pagsayaw, Veracidad naman para sa mga magagaling sa pagsusulat at marami pang ibang organisasyon na pwedeng salihan na tiyak na mapupulutan ng lahat ng aral.

Isyu ng bayan hindi matapos-tapos

             Isiniwalat ng CBCP-NASSA (Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines National Secretariat for Social Action Justice and Peace) ang tungkol sa isyung pork barrel scam na hindi lamang si Janet Lim Napoles ang utak sa nasabing kaso.

            Hamon ni Chairman Auxiliary Bishop Broderick Pabillo sa Pangulong Aquino na hindi lamang si Napoles ang dapat sisihin kung hindi pati na rin ang mga mambabatas at iba pang opisyal ng pamahalaan na sangkot sa pork barrel scam.

            Ayon kay Pabillo, na isa din ang mga mambabatas at ilang mga katiwalian at iba’t-ibang pekeng hindi naman governmental organisasyon ang dapat din masisi sa usaping ito at hindi lamang si Janet Lim Napoles ang naiipit sa kaso.

            Panayam din nito sa Radio Veritas na 30-percent lamang napakinabangan ni Napoles samantalang halagang 70-percent naman ang napunta sa bulsa ng mga mambabatas. Aniya kahit naman na nakuha na nila si Napoles na sinasabing utak sa 10 Bilyong pisong pork barrel scam ay hindi pa din nila mareresolbahan ang kaso sapagkat ang tunay na nakinabang ay ang mga hindi tunay na mapagkakatiwalaang mambabatas.

            Samantalang tinatayang 12 bilyong pisong pork barrel mula sa 101 bilyong piso na inilabas noong taong 2010 na napunta sa pekeng NGO at anim na mambabatas na kaalyado ng Pangulo na nakatanggap sa sobrang pork barrel katulad na lamang ni Senedor Pia Cayetano na 277 milyong piso lamang ang pork barrel fund ng isang Senador.

Scorer Machine ng Congress-LGU

Matagumpay na naisagawa ang kauna-unahang UNTV Cup noong Agosto 12, 2013 Linggo ng hapon, na ang bawat koponan ay nagpakitang gilas sa nasabing palaro. Ito ay ginanap sa Ynares Sports Araneta, Pasig City na pinangungunahan ni Mr. Public Servants Kuya Daniel S. Razon.

            Isang mainit na laban ang nangyari sa pagitan ng Congress-LGU sa miyembro ng PhilHealth sa nasabing palaro sa Ynares. Agad na natambakan ang koponan ng Congress-LGU ng PhilHealth sa first half na umabot sa 27 puntos.

            Pilit namang humahabol ang isa sa mga miyembro ng Congress-LGU, si Erivc Vijandre na siyang nagpakitang gilas sa laban upang manalo sa koponan ng PhilHealth, bagamat ito’y nahuli sa palaro, isa pa rin ito sa mga tumulong sa kanilang miyembro upang mag bahagi  ng puntos.

            Umiskor ito ng 35 puntos kahit na sa second half na siya naglaro, dahil ito’y nahuli sa oras ng kanilan laban. Pilit hinahabol ni Vijandre ang puntos ng kalaban para manalo ngunit hindi na nila ito nakayanan.

            Kahit hindi na nakahabol pa ang Congress-LGU sa kanilang kalaban na may puntos na 98-73, si Ervic Vijandre pa rin ang nagsilbing scorer machine sa kanilang koponan upang makahabol sa kanilang kalaban sa miyembro ng Philhealth.

A lady’s yes

            At my age you can’t this kinds of feelings you can be coming at the stage that you are in love to someone that makes you happy, that makes your day complete, and it is normal to a teenager. It is the sign that we are going up. Sometimes we experience that we need to make beautiful to the eyes of the person we like, to get his attention. And of course boys can do the same things like other girls did.

            When I read a poem “A lady’s yes” by Elizabeth Browning I was really amaze to her written poem that tells about the courtship of boys and girls. And she gives an idea on how you will say the word “yes” to a man. In what way does the boy get the sweeties answer of a girl? When we say the word “courtship” it is talking about the relationship between boys and girls. Courtship is a vow to their selves that they will love each other, and that promises shows that you really love your partner. But before having a true partner into your life there are things that the boys and girls needs to doing.

            In the poem it says that as a boy if he is really wanted to get the answer of a girl he need to show how he is very serious on what he is doing, because before the girl give her sweeties answer she need to know the things will happen if she give her yes to a man. Elizabeth Browning wants to tell that as a role of boy in her written poem this is a kind of person that you can be trust because when the suitor dating to a girl he is asking for an answer to girl. The author is trying to say that in our life if we give our vows to someone it is definitely we need to do these things because it is very important for the girls in a reason of you are showing how you really love her. And for the girl we should know first if the boy is serious that he can do all his promises onto you.

            In are lives there are right day to give our yes to someone. I believe that in the world of being in love there are lots of problems, trials, and challenges that we can experience so for me we need to enjoy first are moment as a teenager because sometimes boys is one of the reason why we are facing to the different trials when we fall in love to them. So we need to study first before for that moment. And stead of that why we should love first God, because I know that if we love Him and he also love the person who love Him with whole heartedly.
