A Successful Day

A place where you can feel that you are safe, you can feel that you are welcome to all the people that you can see, and it seems that there are happy of what they are doing. For my three days in Apalit, Pampanga this are the common things that you can observes. It was nice to say that it is successfully celebrates the Thanksgiving of God of all the brethren of the MCGI (Members Church of God International) and the some guests of different religions.

PNK ( Pasalamat ng Buong Katawan) is one of the most exciting part in the MCGI in this you are giving thanks to God for all the things that he have done unto you. In this all the brethren are attentively listening to our preacher Kuya Daniel Razon and Bro. Eli Soriano. Moreover while listening to the words of God a lot of hindrances are we going to experience, like the temperature in the Apalit is too hot, you can feel that you are burn by the sun, you can feel sleepy etc. but those hindrances are not the reasons to stop listening by our preacher instead we keep on listening just to proof that we are willing to give thanks to God.

 In Addition to that you can see the presence of all the brethren they also join in all the jamming. For the whole day in Apalit it was too fun for us because some of my friends that is not a member of the MCGI are willing to go their and to also listening the words of God and to take Him for what he have done for us.

The First Timer

The First Timer

            This is the day that I am waiting to walk while capturing some picture with my fellow students, and the Photoville members. It is fun for as in the reason of this is our first time to go outside just to take a nice shot, but while we are finding a good subject honestly I felt nervous, I am afraid to use the DSLR because it is not mine, and I’m not good enough using the DSLR. But as time goes by those emotions that I felt was changed into being happy, and excited for another subject because I was enjoying using the DSLR of kuya Rodel and kuya Fred

            We walked and walked and then take some picture that for us we know that it is nice we are also eating while walking, and then having a group picture, this are some we did in our photo walk. Until I get fever because I’m tired walking and that time it was very hot because it was in the afternoon that is the reason why I wanted to go home, but I realized it is my chance to experienced that the things the photographer did in their photo walk, and it is just a part of being a first timer. So although it has a lot of hindrances happened I will continue what I been started I will keep on finding a good subject for my photo walk.

           After that all the group members ate at the Kitchen Basics. When we ate and take some rest we felt tired that wanted to take some sleep but the Photoville members told that after we ate our lunch we will continuing walking like we did a while ago.

            In this moment after we took some picture, before we go home we took some group picture with the Photoville members and the whole class of 2B and some of the students of 2A. for the whole day walking on the street we felt tired but happy for that wonderful experienced. I felt that I am a professional photographer that time.

The UNTV Station

Radio is a medium were you can listen your favorite songs, from different radio station of different DJ of course. It is also important because it is also another way for us to know the daily events happened in our country, but most of the radio stations like: Brgy. LS, Yes Fm, Pinas Fm Win Radio etc. are more on giving opinion base on the lives of a person who is broken hearted, or wanted to have a lifetime partner. Different strategies they did just to catch up the attention of the listener.

But there is a radios station which is differs from those stations. The UNTV Radio which is own by Mr. Larry Ynares with help of the CEO (Chairman Executive Chairman) Mr. Public Servants Daniel S. Razon. All their programs differ from other stations. This station aims to help people, they are giving an opinion but in the way of how Bro. Eli gives opinion in all brethren, and the Dear Kuya, Student Hour, Huntahan etc. are some of their programs in the UNTV Radio. All their program that the listener heard is more on public service, and they are not giving opinion base on their own knowledge in fact it is base in the Bible.

I think it is the reason why the UNTV Radio was awarded by the UP Gantingan because of their programs that shows a public service, because this station wanted to have a development to help their fellow citizen like the poor people, like in their program in the PNP and huntahan, this is a program who helped people to know the things about the laws especially the poor people who doesn’t know the rules in our country. So in this station pursue to give knowledge, to inform people through the use of their programs airing. Unlike the other stations that more on personal problem etc.

Sa Laverdad

Matagumpay na naipatayo ang paaralang La Verdad Christian College Caloocan (LVCC) sa pangunguna nina Bro. Eliseo F. Soriano at Kuya Daniel S. Razon. Ang paaralang ito ay itinaguyod para sa mga mag-aaral na nais makapagtapos ng kani-kanilang pag-aaral sa kolehiyo.

Ang LVCC ay ang nag-iisang pampaaralan na walang binabayaran ang bawat estudyante. Sa katunayan lahat ng mga bagay na may kaugnayan sa pag-aaral sa kolehiyo ay libre. Halimbawa nito ay ang uniporme, mga libro, pagkain, pati na rin ang mga kompyuter, camera at iba pang mga kagamitan na maaring makatulong sa mga iskolar sa nasabing paaralan.

Hindi lang yan, maging sa mga pangpinansyal ay tumutulong sina Bro.Eli at kuya Daniel sa mga iskolar na kanilang pinapag-aral upang hindi ito mawalan ng pag-asa sa kanilang pag-aaral, upang hindi maging dahilan ang kahirapan sa pag-aaral ng mga piling iskolar ng LVCC.

Kaya bilang iskolar o mag-aaral tanging pag-aaral ang aming iginaganti upang masuklian namin ang mga paghihirap at kabutihang naibabahagi nila sa amin.

Kahit mahirap mag-aral, masigla pa rin ang mga iskolar at patuloy na nag-aaral sa abot nang aming makakaya. Di lang iyan, dahil aktibo ang lahat sa mga aktibidades na mayroon sa paaralan na ang bawat isa ay nagpapakita ng kani-kanilang mga kakayahan sa nasabing patimpalak.

Gaya na lamang nito ay ang “Buwan ng Wika” na ang bawat isa ay naging masaya dahil sa matagumpay itong naidaos. At hindi lang iyan nagtatapos sapagkat madami pang mga aktibidad na dapat abangan ng lahat.

Mayroon din namang mga organisasyon na maari ding salihan ng mga mag-aaral gaya ng Teatro La Verdad (TLV) na iyong ipapamalas ang iyong galing sa pag-arte, Blue Ants naman para sa mga mahilig sa pagsayaw, Veracidad naman para sa mga magagaling sa pagsusulat at marami pang ibang organisasyon na pwedeng salihan na tiyak na mapupulutan ng lahat ng aral.

Isyu ng bayan hindi matapos-tapos

             Isiniwalat ng CBCP-NASSA (Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines National Secretariat for Social Action Justice and Peace) ang tungkol sa isyung pork barrel scam na hindi lamang si Janet Lim Napoles ang utak sa nasabing kaso.

            Hamon ni Chairman Auxiliary Bishop Broderick Pabillo sa Pangulong Aquino na hindi lamang si Napoles ang dapat sisihin kung hindi pati na rin ang mga mambabatas at iba pang opisyal ng pamahalaan na sangkot sa pork barrel scam.

            Ayon kay Pabillo, na isa din ang mga mambabatas at ilang mga katiwalian at iba’t-ibang pekeng hindi naman governmental organisasyon ang dapat din masisi sa usaping ito at hindi lamang si Janet Lim Napoles ang naiipit sa kaso.

            Panayam din nito sa Radio Veritas na 30-percent lamang napakinabangan ni Napoles samantalang halagang 70-percent naman ang napunta sa bulsa ng mga mambabatas. Aniya kahit naman na nakuha na nila si Napoles na sinasabing utak sa 10 Bilyong pisong pork barrel scam ay hindi pa din nila mareresolbahan ang kaso sapagkat ang tunay na nakinabang ay ang mga hindi tunay na mapagkakatiwalaang mambabatas.

            Samantalang tinatayang 12 bilyong pisong pork barrel mula sa 101 bilyong piso na inilabas noong taong 2010 na napunta sa pekeng NGO at anim na mambabatas na kaalyado ng Pangulo na nakatanggap sa sobrang pork barrel katulad na lamang ni Senedor Pia Cayetano na 277 milyong piso lamang ang pork barrel fund ng isang Senador.

Scorer Machine ng Congress-LGU

Matagumpay na naisagawa ang kauna-unahang UNTV Cup noong Agosto 12, 2013 Linggo ng hapon, na ang bawat koponan ay nagpakitang gilas sa nasabing palaro. Ito ay ginanap sa Ynares Sports Araneta, Pasig City na pinangungunahan ni Mr. Public Servants Kuya Daniel S. Razon.

            Isang mainit na laban ang nangyari sa pagitan ng Congress-LGU sa miyembro ng PhilHealth sa nasabing palaro sa Ynares. Agad na natambakan ang koponan ng Congress-LGU ng PhilHealth sa first half na umabot sa 27 puntos.

            Pilit namang humahabol ang isa sa mga miyembro ng Congress-LGU, si Erivc Vijandre na siyang nagpakitang gilas sa laban upang manalo sa koponan ng PhilHealth, bagamat ito’y nahuli sa palaro, isa pa rin ito sa mga tumulong sa kanilang miyembro upang mag bahagi  ng puntos.

            Umiskor ito ng 35 puntos kahit na sa second half na siya naglaro, dahil ito’y nahuli sa oras ng kanilan laban. Pilit hinahabol ni Vijandre ang puntos ng kalaban para manalo ngunit hindi na nila ito nakayanan.

            Kahit hindi na nakahabol pa ang Congress-LGU sa kanilang kalaban na may puntos na 98-73, si Ervic Vijandre pa rin ang nagsilbing scorer machine sa kanilang koponan upang makahabol sa kanilang kalaban sa miyembro ng Philhealth.

A lady’s yes

            At my age you can’t this kinds of feelings you can be coming at the stage that you are in love to someone that makes you happy, that makes your day complete, and it is normal to a teenager. It is the sign that we are going up. Sometimes we experience that we need to make beautiful to the eyes of the person we like, to get his attention. And of course boys can do the same things like other girls did.

            When I read a poem “A lady’s yes” by Elizabeth Browning I was really amaze to her written poem that tells about the courtship of boys and girls. And she gives an idea on how you will say the word “yes” to a man. In what way does the boy get the sweeties answer of a girl? When we say the word “courtship” it is talking about the relationship between boys and girls. Courtship is a vow to their selves that they will love each other, and that promises shows that you really love your partner. But before having a true partner into your life there are things that the boys and girls needs to doing.

            In the poem it says that as a boy if he is really wanted to get the answer of a girl he need to show how he is very serious on what he is doing, because before the girl give her sweeties answer she need to know the things will happen if she give her yes to a man. Elizabeth Browning wants to tell that as a role of boy in her written poem this is a kind of person that you can be trust because when the suitor dating to a girl he is asking for an answer to girl. The author is trying to say that in our life if we give our vows to someone it is definitely we need to do these things because it is very important for the girls in a reason of you are showing how you really love her. And for the girl we should know first if the boy is serious that he can do all his promises onto you.

            In are lives there are right day to give our yes to someone. I believe that in the world of being in love there are lots of problems, trials, and challenges that we can experience so for me we need to enjoy first are moment as a teenager because sometimes boys is one of the reason why we are facing to the different trials when we fall in love to them. So we need to study first before for that moment. And stead of that why we should love first God, because I know that if we love Him and he also love the person who love Him with whole heartedly.

Dear Kuya

Dear Kuya

            The newest radio drama program which is hosted by Kuya Daniel Razon, is a kind of a drama station that tells about the different kinds of a story of a person. And for every story there is a following advice which is given by our Preacher Bro. Eliseo Soriano, and for every advice that was given to the person who write his/her story is coming from a verse of the Bible wherein you can trust this advice which is given that comes from Bro, Eli.

            When I read an article in the newspaper of Kuya Daniel, I read about his launched “Dear Kuya” I’m so very excited because I know to myself that this kind of radio program is different from other station, why? Because when we listen to other stations some radio Dj’s we can say that sometimes they are not interested or they didn’t respect people who listen to their program because sometimes they ask an advise but it is not useful because it was only a joke wherein everyone is laughing,  which is not good. While in the stations of Kuya Daniel we can say that this is kind of a station that give’s importance and respect to the person who wrote their story. I’m not talking this, because I am a student of La Verdad, but because I tell this in a reason that I know that Kuya Daniel and other staff of Dear Kuya are respecting the emotion of other people.

            And as a La Verdarian student I’m so very proud, because some of the student in third year student in LVCC is working with Kuya Daniel Razon in his radio program “Dear Kuya”. It is nice because those third year student are representing the name of LVCC (La Verdad Christian College) that show the students in our school are very talented and intelligent. I hope that this radio program will stay forever and many people will listen to this station especially to the part of giving an advice with Bro. Eli.

Ira Talks to Her Mom

When she sit down to talk, she seems as relaxed as she did, when I first interviewed my mom in our house she told that she feels like a “President” and I am the reporter that want to know the story about her personal life. As we talks, she told me how she can face all the challenges that happen in our lives, how she can survive about her health conditions.

Ira: What are your achievements that happen to your life?

Virginia: For me, I think is having a good relationship between my family and also having four (4) talented siblings that always here for me.

Ira: You’re saying that your achievement is your four (4) siblings. What can you say about your four (4) siblings?

Virginia: yes! My achievements are my siblings because they grow all that having a fear with God, and also respecting others which is what I wanted. And I am very proud that they here for me that makes me stronger who always supports me although I had a sick.

Ira: So you think does your health condition affect your relationship to your family?

Virginia: hmmm. Not really, in fact it is the reason why should I have to keeps stronger, and to show how I really love my family instead of showing that I can’t survive, because I don’t what to see them that they really pity on me.

Ira: As a mother who fights for her everyday life. What is your goal for your four (4) siblings?

Virginia: My goal for my four (4) siblings is to have a better future, simple as they finish their studies and to love and helps each other in all the times.

Ira: For my last questions what is your message to your family?

Virginia: First of all this is my first interview about my personal life hmmm! I just wanted to say that thanks for my family who always cares about my condition. Which is always here for me to makes me stronger, and to survive in all my problems. Thanks to God because He sent to me a good family that loves me, and because of my family I can face all my problem and also I forgot my health conditions because they makes me happy and comfortable.

He Has A Wonderful Plan

I am a moody person that always gets angry, without any reasons. Sometimes I don’t want to talk to others. There is a time that when I saw my family is very' happy I feel irritate, because I really hate them all, but I don’t know why? This is the reasons why I am not close to my parents, sometimes I know to myself that the reasons why they are crying, because of the attitude that I’ve always show to them.

        

        When I was on fourth year they said that if I want to study in college, it is better if I take an entrance exam in La Verdad because they do not have enough money to supports all the things that I needed if I choose to study in other schools. They said that in La Verdad all the miscellaneous is free also the meal, and the uniform. And then I have no choice so I need to take an entrance exam, but is hard for me in a reason of I want to study in Pamantasan Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM).

After a week I get the result, and I passed, but instead to be happy I feel mad because I always pray that I need to fail the exam. In our home my mom hugs me very tightly because she is so very proud that I pass the examination. I can’t explain my feelings that time but, I really appreciated those hugs that come with my mama, and that time I get interested to study in La Verdad Christian College (LVCC).

        

      After a month that I been studied here in LVCC I know to myself that I change my bad attitude, because now I can show to my family how they really important to me, how I really love them, and its started when I listen in our “Bible Study” and the topic is about the relationship of mother to their sibling. When I listen to Bro. Eli I realize my entire mistake that I’ve done to my parents, and I want to fulfill those mistake. And this is the reason why I always wanted to listening to Bro. Eli because I’ve learn a lot.

      

       And for me I realize why am I here in LVCC is to start a new life, because this place is the reasons why I change’ and I know that God has a plan for me. And I’m so very happy that I am a part of the “Members CHURCH OF GOD International” (MCGI) and I think that aside to finish my study here in LVCC to have a better future is and also to serve to God. 

CL Week

Four Day Preparations

January 31, 2013 is the big event that happens here in LVCC wherein all the students and instructor are very excited, busy for the preparations, and can’t wait for this day, because it is the CL Week, but if you going to ask my opinion about the CL Week! Hmmm. I am so very excited but nervous, ashamed, happy which is I know that makes me stronger and better person. Why? Because I am the representative of MCT13 for the “bible Preaching” which is makes my feel nervous, that maybe I can’t do that in front of many people, ashamed to stand in front of my schoolmates, to speak about words of God, but here in my hearts I’m so very excited because they choose me, and they trust on me that I can do this task, with the help of God.

Four days before the CL Week! I ask for myself that do I really want this task that was given to me. Because in my mind it’s said that it is much better if I choose another task, and don’t choose the Bible Preaching, but in my heart said that my decision is right that I accept this task and I need to believe in myself. That day I really confuse but I know that I made the right decisions. So I choose what my heart is saying.

Three days preparation, when I walking into the hallway for every rooms you can see that all of them are very happy in what are they doing, others are laughing while practicing their dance presentation. So I decided to study about the topic that was assign to me, I try to read all the verses, trying to explain what does it means. Then kuya Marc Castillo saw me, and then he asks what am I doing then he saw that I was reading a Bible, and he said that you are the representative of Bible Preaching? I said yes. Until he said that my topic is very easy if I really want this task. And he voluntarily gives an ideas, things that needed to do if I stand in front of many people, the way how am I going to speak, which makes me happy, and very thankful to him.

Two days before the CL Week. All the MCT 13 went to EDSA Caloocan just to practice their Christian Dance, the Chorale which is I’m not included. So I practice alone. Until they said that they are going home because they are already done in their practices. Then when I saw Bro. Jensen I ask a question about the Bible Preaching, and then he said that he is going to help me, he is the one who teach me about my topic, and that time I’m so very happy, and thankful, but he said that I need to speak in front of what I’ve already known in my topic, and I feel nervous because all the listener is brethren in MCGI.

January 31, 2013 this is the day that I am going to speak in front many people, and before my turn I was thinking the days of my preparations for this event, and when somebody call my name I was laughing because I was remember all the things happen to me for the past day before the CL week. So when I start walking I promise to myself that I will give my best shot to prove that I can, and I do this because of God, not because of grade that will be given to me.

After I was speaking in front I was wondering because all of them are very happy. So I proud of myself that I won a 2^nd placer and the MCT13 won as an over all champion. Thanks be to God :)

NSTP (Hospicio De San Jose)

A Smile in Their Hearts

It is hard to accept that many of special children are can’t experience to have their own family, or what is the feeling if the persons that always care to there is their real family. But although they do not have their family you can see in their faces that they are really happy and very thankful that many people are very concern, wherein those people helps these children to show that there are very important although there are special children.

            On February 13, 2013 MCT 13 visited the “Hospicio De San Jose”. This is the day that we can feel a mix emotion. When I ask one of my classmates she said that she feels so very excited, because this is her first time to go into an orphanage, and then she can do a good works. Other than that many of my classmates said that they are excited also but afraid of what will happen if it is successful or not, but we need to have faith in God that He help us because we have a good intention, because we would like to show to everyone that we really want to help them, not because of the grade that was given to us, it’s because we all know that for every task was given to us we need to work with love on how we really disparate those things so all of them work happily with whole heartedly.

            When we start the program I feel that they are very happy, and we are very welcome in their house. You can see in their faces that they are enjoying these moments, and everyone is busy. And when I saw a girl wearing a yellow t-shirt I notice that she is very quite, she is sitting alone in one place watching everyone. She catch my attention so I walking to get near with her. And then I ask her name and she said her name is “Angie” then lately I saw that she has no arms but I ignore it and then I keep on throwing question to her. In the middle of our conversation Angie said that that she is good in drawing using her feet and I’m so really amaze. Aside to Angie I also known others and there are my new friends. One of them is Mayang who always wanted to dance, Charlie and Lando both of them are naughty and they are really hate Jennifer Enriquez, and MJ the sweetest baby.

            To be honest when they plan that we are going to an orphanage and we are visiting special children I don’t want to go because I really afraid of what are they can do to us but I feel ashamed to myself that I been mistaken of what I’ve said to those children. When I saw their smile that day I realize that all of them are very kind, sweet. Others are naughty but it is okay! For the whole day I’ve never feel tired, because for me it is enough to see their smile, and laughing because all of them are happy.

            A smile in their hearts is the reason why we are wanted to go back in the Hospicio De San Jose, because we wanted to spend our time again to those children. And in one day many special children are very happy and we are very lucky because they are also a part of our life. Thanks To Be God for a wonderful and meaningful day. 

My Purpose In Writing

    hi! 
          I am Iralyn V. Aguilar of mct-13 from La Verdad Christian College. I do this guys because I want to inform you why I wanted to write and what is my purpose in writing! For me I really like writing because in thid process I can express my feelings, emotion whenever I am happy or sad. I can write this in a way of song or poem.

Sometimes I write because of my problem or the things that happened to me that I will never forget. And my purpose is to show how important those things.But the real reason why I want to write its because of my ambition and that is to be come a book writer! my purpose is to write a book and to dedicate all book that I write for my mother because she really love reading, and i want that for my all finish book ive done she has an original copy that i gave. 

and also to inspire all students in La Verdad to also share their talent in writing. I just wanted to say that eventhough im not good in writing I never lose hope beause I know to myself that i can. Don't afraid because there are a lot of instructor to correct our mistake! 

My Favorite Gadget

When I am sad, I listen to a song. When I am bored, I open an Ebook, read some love stories and sometimes wrote a poem. But aside from that, I write those worst and happiest moments that I never forget as a teenager.

            I can do all of these things together with my cell phone. And I want you to know that this gadget represent as my diary like what I said a while ago. For me it is very important, because it is a part of my life in a reason that when I have a problem I always use my cell phone, to have fun and forget those problems.  Then I do what I want like listening to the music, read some stories and also watching Be Careful With My Heart” that completes my day i can do all of that because of my phone.

            I’m so very thankful that I had a gadget that makes me happy, especially when I’m always alone. For me none of the other gadgets that I know can make me happy aside for my cell phone. And take note it's almost 2 years that I keep my secret here in my phone. And sometimes, if I want to go back into my past experiences, I can do that, by looking at my pictures together with those persons that I really loved because of the help of my cell phone.

My Favorite Movie

            For how many times I never fed up watching this movie, although it is for a kid I really loved watching “Finding Nemo”. Maybe because of the lessons that I relate to myself, and I proved that I need to do this moral lesson that I learned from this movie.

            Do you know guys that when I was a kid I watched Finding Nemo together with my sisters and brother at the age of 6 if I’m not mistaken? And that time all I can say that I never understand the movie in what the author trying to say? But when I try to watched it again I am really glad because the author catches my attention, in a reason of I fully understand the story I got the moral lessons and I was really amazed.

            So I appreciate the story, and  the moral lesson I learned is how to become a good daughter, because the writer is trying to say that as a child, we ought to obey our parents on what they are saying because it is for the seek of our lives, and being disobedient to our parents it will cause of our misfortune. So after watching I promise to myself that I always obey my parents and never violate their instruction to proved that I really love my parents and how they are important to me. 

My Favorite Song

When I heard my sister singing the song Tag-ulan which is sung by Kuya Daniel it always recall into my mind. When I told it to my sister she said that it is called as a last song syndrome or LSS. Then I keep on singing the part that I can still remember and then I get the lyric of a song and I read the whole message and I really amazed for the thoughts of the song tag-ulan.

It tells that if you are alone I’m here to listened with you, to comfort, and to help you with all your problems. Also if you need a friend just call my name and I’m here for you because I am your friend. And if you are crying I’m also here as your defense. From this song it tells us that don’t think that we are always alone because there are many people who are wanted to helped us to survive for every problem that we have. And also to think that we have a friend that always supports us.

I really like this song because whenever I listened to the song tag-ulan it keep me stronger because I know that I have my friends who are always beside me and never leave when I need them.
